Toy drive at Coronation Park

STORY BY Justine Sousa, Rohit Rana, Krishen Persad

The Oakville Professional Firefighters Association is hosting a drive-through toy drive to spread holiday joy this season.

Date: December 4, 2020

Time: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Location: Coronation Park

The 28th annual PFFA Toy Drive will be putting on a safe and socially-distant holiday experience. Families are welcome to drive through the park and admire the dazzling display of lights from their vehicles.

Donations of gift cards are preferred to minimize contact, although toy donations are accepted.

The drive-thru event will feature Santa, giving kids a chance to wave hello and give him their letters. Along with many elves, reindeers and special guests including the Oakville Fire Safety Team and Sparky the Fire Dog.

In response to COVID-19 gathering restrictions, visitors are asked to stay in their vehicles as they drive through the park to the donation centre. To guarantee everybody’s wellbeing, pedestrians are not allowed in the drive-through route or the gift area.

Unable to take part in Toy Drive? The Oakville Fire Fighter Department will still be accepting donations from November 21 to December 18, 2020 at these locations:
