Flu season by the numbers

It’s that time again. The symphony of sniffles, muffled coughs forced into a hand or arm, and an explosive achoo in classrooms or the workplace. The cold and flu season is in full force, quickly becoming the bane of parents and an unwelcome presence anywhere. It’s easy to fall victim to influenza, and the litany of symptoms ranging from fever, sore throat, and a stuffy nose, to debilitating weakness, vomiting, and body aches can ruin a good week. Such a harsh disease requires awareness, especially one that is so easily solved.
