Davis Toastmasters hosts dual speech contest

Davis Campus hosted the annual Davis Bruins Toastmasters speech contests March 10.

Toastmasters International is a non-profit organization that operates clubs devoted to education in communication and leadership skills.

Participants in the Speech Evaluation Contest observe a speech before presenting a two- to three-minute evaluation, while contestants of the International Speech Contest present five- to seven-minute speeches about their chosen topics.

The contests ran from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in B213.
