Tickets for the Footloose Girl’s Night Out sold out fast, but not to worry, more have just been added. Get them soon as there are limited tickets available. This event will take place on Thursday, Feb. 16, exclusively for the ladies.
The night will include a buffet dinner at the Marquee at 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m., followed by the musical Footloose at MacDonald-Heaslip Hall from 7.30 p.m. to 10 p.m. performed by Music Theatre students. Tickets cost $30.
“We are always thinking about different event ideas as a way to engage our alumni. For example, we used Theatre Sheridan’s last performance Shrek: The Musical as a way to invite alumni and their families back on campus.”explained Allisha Seguire, Alumni Outreach Coordinator, who is also in charge of tickets sales.
“Theatre Sheridan is working on Footloose right now. They do six musicals a year; two in December, two in February and two in May. The movie Footloose seems popular with women so we decided to do a “Girls Night Out” event which includes dinner and a ticket to the show. Ticket sales are already going very well. It should be lots of fun,” said Seguire.
