50 years of Animation

Sheridan’s Animation program is set to celebrate its 50-year anniversary. The program, created by Sheridan’s first president Jack Porter and Hollywood animator George Martsegis, in 1968. Ten years later the International Summer School of Animation opened, allowing for an entirely new batch of talent. Later, in 1981 the Computer Animation program took the stage; setting a new standard for film animation. In its 50-year existence, the program has seen countless successes, with many graduates going on to win high-end awards and titles. Take a look at just a few of things graduates of the program have accomplished.
