Come celebrate at grad fair

BY CHRISTINA-MARY PIPER

Sheridan College is having its annual Graduation Fair for the graduating class of 2017. This gives graduating students a chance to learn more about convocation, order convocation tickets, try on their robes and learn more about alumni benefits.

The Graduation Fair is a chance to celebrate the graduating class by taking a class or group photos and enjoying some refreshments. Students can gain a lot by going to the Graduation Fair. “Students can order convocation tickets, learn about alumni services and discounts, purchase discounted frames for their diploma or degree, purchase custom made Sheridan diploma mats, pre-order a convocation DVD, order a school ring, try on a graduation gown for proper sizing, take a class or group photo, get a LinkedIn headshot and be entered to win some great prizes and enjoy free food,” explained alumni coordinator and advancement and external relations Karina Butzek Morris.

There are three Graduation Fairs happening throughout Sheridan: April 5, Trafalgar Road Campus (for Trafalgar and STC students), 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in Trafalgar Gym Athletics Building, Thursday, April 6 Hazel McCallion Campus, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in A Wing Main Atrium. Friday, April 7, Davis Campus, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., in Davis Gym.
