Anxiety is like a dark cloud. It hovers over you constantly and can feel like it will never go away. According to Anxiety Disorders Association of Canada, one in four Canadians will have an anxiety disorder in their lifetime. In fact, anxiety is the most common mental health disorder in Canada. Medications and expensive therapy sessions are always an option that can help you overcome the anxiety. The unfortunate issue for some is being able to afford those things. Luckily, there are many different ways to help lower that anxiety and get you through the day.

Psychology Today states that up to 70 per cent of people with psychological and psychiatric disorders also have panic disorders. Learn how to stop a panic attack in the video below.

  • Great article Alex. There are so many natural ways to help with anxiety and depression.
Painting, as well as drawing, pottery and gardening are all good for the soul.
In Canada where we see less sun in the winter, Vitamin D should be added to your diet. Speak to your doctor about your specific dosage.
Keep up the good work and continue to strive towards your goals.
